Budget Travel Event Recap
This past Wednesday night, Budget Travel Editor-in-Chief Erik Torkells moderated a spirited panel discussion on the state of travel media. SFO*Media’s Mark G. Johnson of HotelChatter and Jaunted, joined Weblogs Inc’s Erik Olsen of Gadling, Randy Petersen of FlyerTalk, and Gawker Media’s Joshua David Stein of Gridskipper
to discuss, answer questions, and extrapolate on the role of travel bloggers and the travel web.
SFO*Media editors Juliana Shallcross and Alex Basek attended the event, as did a few SFO*Media contributing editors.
Though in this photo it looks like Mark may be whistling, we can assure you he did actually speak.
The stellar event, which was held at the Tribeca Cinemas, was in celebration of Budget Travel Online’s first birthday.
